Sei pronto a inventare la casa del futuro?
L’idea di questa maratona, organizzata in collaborazione con Innovation Week/Maker Faire Rome, è di reinventare l’ambiente domestico e rendere connessi i suoi oggetti, puntando sulle tecnologie digitali e sull’innovazione.
H-ACK LIVING, in programma il 27 e 28 settembre 2014, sarà una maratona di 24 ore dedicata allo sviluppo di idee e progetti digitali che vedrà la partecipazione di alcune tra le più importanti aziende italiane dell’arredamento e del design (Elica, Valcucine, Slamp), oltre che speaker e ospiti esterni. L’evento si svolgerà presso il MAXXI B.A.S.E. di Roma.
Il format di H-ACK è semplice: sviluppatori, designer e specialisti del marketing si uniranno in team per trovare soluzioni digitali alle necessità di alcune aziende del settore.
Ogni team dovrà essere composto da minimo 4 e massimo 6 persone e all’interno dovranno esserci necessariamente tutti i profili.
All'interno dei gruppi, il lavoro si svolge in modo molto collaborativo: i marketing specialist si occupano dell'analisi di mercato, della fattibilità e sostenibilità dell'idea, i designer di grafica, user interface e interaction design, i developer dello sviluppo. Alla fine delle 24 ore l’ideale sarebbe arrivare ad avere un prototipo funzionante da mostrare alle aziende.
Tutti i team lavorano allo sviluppo del progetto fino alla tarda mattinata della domenica. Durante le 24 ore riceveranno il supporto di mentor a loro dedicati e dei rappresentanti dell'azienda. Per tutta la notte i partecipanti continueranno a lavorare e a sviluppare il progetto, ad eccezione del momento dedicato ai nostri contest a premi, uno per ciascuna delle tre le categorie.
Chi avesse voglia di qualche ora di sonno può portarsi il sacco a pelo per dormire sistemandosi dove preferisce.
A partire dalla tarda mattinata di domenica, ogni team presenterà il proprio progetto di fronte agli altri partecipanti, ai referenti delle aziende e a una giuria che sceglierà il team vincitore (uno per ogni brief lanciato).
I team che presenteranno le idee migliori verranno premiati da una giuria composta dalle aziende partecipanti.

Per partecipare non sono previsti requisiti particolari, né per quanto riguarda il titolo di studio, né vi sono limiti di età.
Ad H-ACK non sono ammessi auditori e chi decide di prendere parte all'iniziativa, deve partecipare a tutto l'evento. Non è quindi possibile partecipare a una sola delle due giornate; questo per mettere tutti i partecipanti nelle condizioni di poter portare a termine il progetto.

Are you ready to invent the home of the future?
H-ACK LIVING, planned for September 27-28 and organized in collaboration with The Innovation Week/Maker Faire, has the goal of reinventing the concept of smart home and making its objects connected, by taking advantage of digital technology and innovation.
H-ACK LIVING will be dedicated to the development of innovative digital ideas and some leading Italian furniture and design companies (Elica, Valcucine, Slamp) will take part. The event will be at the MAXXI B.A.S.E. in Rome.
H-ACK's format is simple: developers, designers and marketing specialists will work in teams to find digital solutions to the companies' needs.
Every team must have 4 members minimum and 6 maximum and must include every type of profile.
Team members work in a very collaborative way: finance and marketing specialists deal with the market analysis, feasibility and sustainability of the idea; designers handle the graphic look, user interface and interaction design and developers realize the technical implementation. Ideally, you create a working prototype to show to the companies.
The teams will work from Saturday morning to Sunday late morning. Mentors and companies’ representatives will be at the teams disposal at all times to answer to their questions and doubts. The teams will work all night and there will be also contests for every category.
If you want to sleep, bring your sleep bag.
Starting from Sunday late morning, every team will present their project to the companies, the other participants and a jury that will choose the winning group (one for each brief) who will receive a prize.

There are no particular requirements to participate, not even educational qualification or age.
Every participant must stay for the entire duration of the event; it’s not possible to stay only one day. Non-participating listeners are not accepted.
