Viscount International is a manufacturer of musical instruments based in Mondaino.
It was born in the early twentieth century and tells the story of a family, which linked its name to that of music, producing musical instruments that for almost a century have brought the name of Mondaino to the world. In a few years the first patents are filed in the States, bringing new technical and aesthetic improvements. At the same time as Mondaino, in 1932, the new factory was inaugurated, which today is an interesting example of industrial archeology, as it is one of the first, in reinforced concrete, made in Italy.
After the Second World War, evolutions continued until the invention of loose basses, a device that allowed bass to be played freely and adapted to the creativity of music.
Subsequently we adapt to new musical tastes by adding other instruments such as electric guitars, electronic organs and vibraphones to the accordion.
